Sample extraction:
Add 1 volume of sodium citrate 3.80% for every 9 volumes of blood.
In order to obtain platelet-poor plasma, centrifuge sample blood at 2500g for 15 minutes. Remove ¾ top parts of plasma using a pipette (do not pour off) and dispense into a propilene tub. The plasma of the propilene tub must be centrifugated for a second time, at 2500g for 15 minutes. Dispense the double-centrifuged plasma in a propilene tub, frezze immediately and send the specimen frozen to the laboratory.
